What has Netbox been up to in Q2
Introduction
Netbox provides solutions that aid in blockchain technology. In fact, Netbox provides a full suite of over 17 decentralized products that are intended to reshape the way we use and perceive the tools we have online.
There are a plethora of developments and updates surrounding Netbox, and today we will be taking an in-depth look at some of them.
Staying in the Loop
There has been no shortage of events, activities, and updates hosted by Netbox, and here’s just a glimpse at some of the most notable ones.
Supporting Hackathons
On June 23, Netbox.Browser Announced a Competition Like No Other. This is in direct response to the revolution of blockchain technology and how it is transforming the world. The next top blockchain startup will be a global hackathon and startup competition that was created with the goal of putting the next wave of entrepreneurs on the spotlight.
One of the prizes is prepared by the Netbox.Global team, where the team that gets first place will win $5,000 in NBX coins and will receive a distribution of their extension to all of the Netbox.Browser users alongside the setup bundle.
The Hackathon has a total of $137,500 in prizes as well as 537 participants.
Celebrating an Anniversary
On June 26, Netbox Global Celebrated its Second Genesis Block Anniversary.
In other words, June 26, 2021, marked the second anniversary of the Netbox.Global Genesis block.
Throughout that time, we saw the continued development of the NBX blockchain and Netbox now offers a suite of more than 17 decentralized products across all of its users. It has also partnered up with many organizations to increase its level of security, development, and accessibility.
Bringing in GDA Capital as a Global Strategic Partner
On June 29, Netbox.Global Reached an Agreement to Bring in GDA Capital as a Global Strategic Partner.
The engagement is intended to combine GDA Capital’s capital markets and fintech experience alongside Netbox’s technology infrastructure and innovation. In other words, GDA will assist in the development of many Netbox brand initiatives and this will increase the distribution and awareness of the complete product suite that currently has over 250,000 online users.
Bringing the Gaps
On June 30, we saw Netbox.Bridge Release to the Binance Smart Chain.
The Netbox.Bridge is a solution that will enable developers to build decentralized applications (dApps) on one network, where it can be accessed easily by the Binance Smart Chain alongside other networks, and where cryptocurrency tokens can travel seamlessly between each blockchain while providing companies and users access to smart contracts. This specific bridge allowed the transfer of NBX coins and NBXB tokens at a 1:1 ratio. The process of the transfers is called a “swap” and is available across all Netbox.Browser devices from the Netbox.Wallet.
Heavy Discussions
On July 6, Netbox.Global Announced That It Would Join the Inaugural Europe Disruptive Investments Panel. This event was hosted by GDA Capital and featured a variety of panels as well as roundtable conversations discussing the role of disruptive technologies as well as the future of capital markets, alternative forms of investment and the future of digital currency regulations.
The Global NetBassador Program
On July 7, Netbox.Global Launched an Inaugural Wave of the “Global NetBassador Program”. This is just one of their latest initiatives which is focused at raising engagement levels between the global Netbox community. It is the official relaunch of the Netbox Ambassador Program which occurred in December of 2019, and it accepted an initial cohort of 25 Global NetBassadors.
The program provided early access to the company’s news and events, a feature on the Netbox social media channels, access to an exclusive group with the Netbox Team and online as well as offline gatherings with the team and NetBassadors cohort.
Attendees also got discounts on Netbox.Coins and monthly NBX Pool and X& discounts on the purchase of NBX with Y& commission for OTC sell-deals referred by NetBassadors.
Educating the Next Generation
On July 8, Netbox Introduced a Guide That Explains How You Can Add the NBXB Token to Your MetaMask and TrustWallet.
On July 12, Netbox Introduced a Guide That Explains How You Can Use the Bridge to Swap Between NBX Coins and NBXB Tokens.
Both of these updates proved that the Netbox team is committed to expanding its reach and user-base through educating them on how to exactly store the NBXB tokens and how to move their NBX funds from one chain to another.
Hosting AMA Sessions
On July 13, Netbox.Global Announced That They Would Host Their First AMA Session of 2021 for the Bridge Token Release as Well as the Technical Updates Surrounding It. This was the result of their celebration of the release of the Bridge Token (NBXB) to the Binance Smart Chain on June 30. This AMA took place on July 16 at 12 PM UTC through the @Blockelite Telegram group, where fans and enthusiasts had all of their questions answered.

We can clearly see that there has been a lot of activity surrounding the Netbox network and that a lot of developments are in place to improve it even further throughout the future.
